At Amigos Iceland Tours, we take you away from Reykjavík's light pollution to increase your chances of witnessing this incredible light show dancing across the Arctic sky.

Every night is different. Our guide will select the best route based on weather forecasts and solar activity, always looking for the best conditions for you to have an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary

Pick-up in Reykjavík

We will start the experience by picking up passengers at the designated meeting points within the city.

Heading towards the darkness

We will move away from the city lights to head to areas with the best viewing conditions, selected in real-time based on cloud cover and aurora activity.

During the tour, our guide will share interesting facts about Iceland, the science behind the Northern Lights, and some of the legends that are part of Icelandic tradition.

Time to enjoy

Once at the right spot, we will have enough time to gaze at the sky, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings while savoring a hot drink and a snack.

If the auroras appear, you will experience one of those moments that will stay with you forever.

Return to Reykjavík

Once the experience is over, we will comfortably return to Reykjavík.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and their observation depends on weather conditions and solar activity. Although we carefully plan each outing to maximize the chances of success, we cannot guarantee their appearance.

In case conditions do not allow observation, we will offer a second opportunity on another available date, at no additional cost.
